Task

The Vodafone flagship store on Hamburg’s Jungfernstieg promenade wants to boost traffic in its sales area. Kontrast is commissioned with the conception and implementation of a live promotion. The chosen theme: the event should relate to the Super Bowl running parallel to it.

Implementation

We develop a football event under the motto Touchdown Days. The central element is a contest, in which participants throw a football whose speed is measured by a speed-o-meter. Additionally we conceptualize and program an accompanying promo microsite on which the current record throws can be viewed. The best throw wins a trip to London to see the NFL Opening 2015.

Result

The three-day event is a huge success. Its high visibility factor and the sports action in the shop ensure that traffic is increased significantly throughout the entire promotion period. And the happy winner is thrilled to have VIP tickets for the big opening in London.
