Vodafone is the first company to occupy a newly created interim advertising space, right next to Düsseldorf’s Königsallee shopping avenue. The Bastionsstraße bridge, which spans the Kö canal, is being renovated. By marketing the bridge’s cover panel, a portion of the construction costs can be recouped. Kontrast is commissioned to design and produce the 680 m² advertising space.

We implement this message visually, showing digital technologies connecting people like a bridge. Kontrast provides the creation, photography and production, all from a single source.


A daily average of around 11,000 shoppers on the Königsallee cannot overlook the brand message of the Düsseldorf-based company. Vodafone again proves it is always breaking new ground in communications.
