Task

Germany's largest chain of DIY stores plans a promotion under the motto “OBI Biber Wochen” (beaver weeks). The campaign is intended to intensify user activity on Facebook. OBI commissions Kontrast with the conceptualization and development of a Facebook game with an integrated sweepstakes.

Implementation

We develop a “beaver leaf hunt” for the OBI Facebook page: Falling leaves must be blown away with a leaf blower and products are collected by the user.
A sweepstakes is integrated, with the chance to win new prizes on a daily basis. From the concept to the filming and including handling of the sweepstakes, Kontrast provides all services from a single source.

Result

Thousands of home improvement Facebook users have caught the gaming bug:
Nearly 5,000 participants join in the leaf chase, and several hundred users receive prizes.
